The ‘Rising School’ in Brazil is a great example of how children can learn through practise. This same model of schools can be established in India also. Schools, which help in the complete development of a child’s personality are a necessity today. Mere bookish knowledge without any value education has been unable to solve the problems of the society. Plus, the vegetarian food provided at these schools is an added incentive. It will be more beneficial for the poor sections of our society, who are unable to send their children to school because they cannot afford one. They, however, might consider one like the ‘Rising Sun’ where their children might not just be able to have food but also learn to grow them. Besides, learning about one’s environment is very essential and if children learn the about the relationship between man and environment at a very young age, it will help develop an environment-friendly vision. Gradually, this might help in the development of an environmentally-sustainable lifestyle and economy, which probably is the biggest requirement of today’s world.
