Never ever was the public fury against politicians so evident as after the Taj attacks. What irked them was the frequency of terrorist attacks on India and Government's inability to check them. Now, they wanted a clear strategy by the Government over its preparations to fight terrorism.

It is high time the whole nation come together to curb the menace. While the Government has to formulate policies to curb the menace, the general public will also have to become more aware of their surroundings and share their responsibility being the citizens of the country. We will have to lend a hand to the government bodies in their mission to root out this threat to humanity.

Besides, Lalita Panwar in her article 'Whither Terrorism' has rightly pointed out

That apart from strengthening our internal machinery like intelligence, police and security check systems, we also need to represent the case effectively at the global level to gain international support on the issue. This because, now, no one nation can along tackle this menace, gradually acquiring a global shape.
