Consciousness
Written by Eric W. Falck

Growing consciousness about individual health and rising concerns about global environment are two major issues, which are linked in many ways. Several global citizens have come together to work towards the well-being of our planet and its people. WHHO and 'Save The Planet' are a step in this direction.

With growing public awareness regarding health, there are numerous theories doing rounds promising extraordinary levels of fitness. Even the government authorities have woken up to the growing need to prevent diseases and for their cure. Besides, the effort is also to find cure to some deadly diseases like AIDS and Cancer.

The World Holistic Health Organisation (WHHO), too aims towards the same goal but with a wholesome approach. The concept, which was given by Dr Leo Rebello in India, calls for not just physical but mental, emotional and spiritual well-being through a combination of ancient natural systems of health and the modern scientific system of medicine.

All experiences and knowledge of important people, like famous Viktor Schauberger, Masaru Emoto and Dr. F. Batmanghelidj, is the foundation for this idea, in addition to the experience of WHO (World Health Organisation).

We at the WHHO, want to include, the holistic, natural order and the divine, together with the modern scientific system.

The concept of the 'Scerets of the Soil' as given by Peter Tompkins and Christopher Bird and the 'Secret of water and plants' are a few important things to work with. We, thus, hope to put a check on hunger, Cholera, HIV / AIDS, Diabetes, ADHD, Malaria, etc.

What people forget is that health is also about happiness. A happy individual is also healthy. Today, the situation is such that insurance companies see this growing health consciousness as a market and want the biggest share of it. Though, this is praiseworthy but what is unfortunate is the commercialisation of the issue. This indicates that those who cannot afford a health insurance have no hopes when it comes to their health. What the governments across the world have failed to realise that health is a public right and should be addressed in a more holistic manner.

We want to teach people how to prevent their lives so that sickness can be avoided. The goal is that we shall live without medication. This way the governments can use billions of dollars to other important issues, like infrastructure, and to take care of our invironment.

Sickness and war, should be avoided, and transferred to health and peace.

The reason for this is that even as we now have had WHO for 50 years, still there is more Cancer, Diabetes, HIV/AIDS every day. This despite the fact that we billions of dollars are spent every year on health.

Most people are waiting for a revolution when it comes to health and we at World Holisitc Health Organisation aim to bring about one.

Our mission is also related to 'Save the Planet' movement. We care not just for the well-being of the people on this planet but are also concerned about protecting and preserving the environment of this planet. Because, it is only by ensuring the well-being of our planet that we can ensure our well-being.

'Save The Planet' is an initiative, which aims to create a global alliance of individuals and organisations dedicated to building a world of peace in which we all can live in freedom, harmony, co-operation and co-prosperity.

We have come together as concerned Global citizens realising that with increasing global population requiring more and more resources with tremendous inequality of distribution, our planet is reaching breaking point in terms of economic and ecological crises. This is having profound social and cultural effects. We require urgent ecological, social, economic and political solutions to problems which affect billions of people if we are to survive sustainably.

'Save The Planet' calls for spiritual, ecological and holistic world views, derived from perceptions of connectedness and interdependence. The essence of a sustainable future lies in the quality of the individual and their positive contribution to society. Optimization of health and lifestyle for every person is the key to our future.
